Please submit your research and knowledge to share with FOTA,  Florida practitioners, colleagues and peers over 2-days of courses at FOTA21.
The Call for Papers deadline is July 15, 2021

If accepted you will be presenting from your home or office or clinic or wherever you are visiting. Share your passion with hundreds of others and present at FOTA21. Our goal is to offer a variety of topics with an emphasis on techniques and evidence that practitioners and educators can use when they return to work.

Professional Call for Papers: Professional Guidelines | Submit Professional Proposal

  1. Short Courses: 50- minute sessions presented by experienced practitioners on topics with direct relevance to practice.
  2. Professional Poster: Supports the AOTA Vision 2025 and represents a culmination of scholarly activity. Posters will be on display during a designated time period. Note: Entry level OT/OTA students must present and submit as a student, and post-professional doctoral students must submit as professional posters.
  3. SIS Conversations that Matter: Available to current FOTA SIS Chairs. This is a :50 min session, discussion.

Student  Call for Papers: Student Guidelines | Submit Student Poster Proposal

 Student Eligibility: Must be a current OTA or OT student. If you are a post professional doctorate in Occupational Therapy student, you must submit a Professional Poster and are not eligible to compete with non-practitioner students.
  1. Single presenter or up to 5 students per group. The person submitting the application is the Primary. The primary student will be the single point of contact from FOTA and responsible for disseminating all FOTA communication to the team/group.
  2.  Posters will be submitted as a .pdf and viewed virtually. Please format your poster to display as video size: 1920x1020 PX.
