The speakers are school-based therapists currently practicing in the state of Florida. The panel of therapists has experience in all aspects of school-based occupational therapy services.
Course Description: This course is specifically for school-based therapists both OT/OTA practicing in the state of Florida. The course will be more conversational discussing topics such as evaluations, goals, treatment, advocacy, continuing education, and more. Resources such as evaluation tools, goals, and treatment strategies will be shared with course participants to enhance their current skill set.

Course Objectives: Therapists will:  identify at least 3 standardized assessments that can be completed in the school setting;  identify the components of a goal;  learn resources (i.e., books, and continuing education courses) to enhance their practice and will have a list of potential tools/equipment to use during treatment. 
Course Outline: This course will be more conversational based as the panel will discuss various areas pertaining to school-based practice. The panel will discuss the topics followed by providing attendees the opportunity to ask questions. A list of resources will be shared with the attendees as well.
