Dr. Pamela Kasyan-Howe is the co-author of Preparing Your Doctoral Capstone, a practical workbook designed to support Doctoral Coordinators (DCs) and occupational therapy students in successfully navigating the capstone development and implementation process.

Drawing from years of experience mentoring DCs throughout Florida and nationally through AOTA’s mentorship program, Dr. Kasyan-Howe has provided consultation and guidance to help programs tailor capstone requirements, ensure academic rigor, and promote excellence in doctoral education.

This workbook is the culmination of collaborative efforts to provide tools, worksheets, and strategies that enhance both student success and program outcomes. In addition to her authorship, Dr. Kasyan-Howe offers workshops and individualized consultation to help programs implement the workbook’s content effectively.

She is passionate about empowering educators and students to elevate the profession through meaningful, well-structured capstone experiences that reflect the advanced skills and knowledge essential to occupational therapy practice.
